The week on Holy Isle offers time to retreat, relax and revive in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. There is time and space to move, breathe deeply, flow, stretch and release through Chinese Medical Qigong. Time too for stillness while learning peaceful mind and loving kindness meditations. The combined skills of Qigong and loving kindness meditation enable us to embody compassion and unfold our own innate wisdom.

Accompanying us again on this year’s retreat is Jenny White, who is offers ‘take home’ shiatsu self-massage to all participants as well as individual shiatsu massage treatments for some in their free time.

The week is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. It is a wonderful opportunity to develop mindfulness skills through movement, relaxation and meditation practices that support the beginning or deepening of a life-long spiritual journey. During the week Sue will teach the flowing movements of Chinese Medical Qigong so that participants can take the complete form or a small part of it with them for their own home practice.
