Volunteering Guests

Many volunteers from all over the world and all walks of life have visited the island over the years, for short or longer periods of time, in order to help wherever help was needed. Joining the resident volunteers in their daily tasks has proven to be a wonderful way to connect to island life in an informal way.

We thought it was no more than fair to also give an outward token of our appreciation of your hard work in the form of a reduction on the accommodation prices. At the moment we have the following arrangement for volunteer guests on Holy Isle:

Part-time volunteering
We offer a 25% reduced rate in return for 1/2 days working, five days a week. We welcome flexibility in terms of which area you work in, but you can nominate where you would prefer to work - e.g. kitchen,  housekeeping, garden, environment.

• single rooms - £33 per night,
• twin rooms - £48 per night and
• dormitory beds (eight persons per dorm, men and women have separate dorms) - £18 per person per night.

All the above prices include three deliciously wholesome vegetarian meals per day. A non-refundable deposit of £20 for a holiday break is required at booking. Please pay on arrival in the centre's Reception Office.
