Pamela Young


Pamela has been studying and practising yoga for many years. She received her technical training in the Astanga style of Hatha yoga and holds an MA (hons) in Philosophy. Her inspiration comes from her study and practice of many styles of yoga asana and meditation. She values a steady and methodical approach to yoga practice that includes precision in alignment and encourages self-awareness through breath, contemplation and meditation. Pamela considers yoga a powerful tool for living a meaningful, happy and responsible life. She is a Principal Tutor for PYTT, a Scottish based school of yoga dedicated to providing a comprehensive training in yoga asana (postures) Ashtanga style, yoga philosophy, yoga history, pranayama and meditation. Pamela specialises in diet, detox and nutrition and runs her own company called One-2-One Detox; a company set up to provide tailor-made programmes for individuals. She also teaches classes and monthly workshops on a variety of topics.
